With a heavy heart we are announcing the departure of Galina our dental assistant. She was with us for 15 years. In this time, we felt like she has been apart of our family. Also, she was a big contribution in taking care of patient's health. Galina has decided to move closer to family and we wish her all the best.
We would also like to welcome Ewa to the team as our dental assistant. With all her experience, we are confident she will make your smile shine! If you have any questions or comments, please let us know. We hope you welcome Ewa with a warm heart as we have!
For Dr. Zofia Wojt, healthcare is in her blood. She comes from a family of healthcare professionals — her mother was a midwife, and her father, a pharmacist.
“Healthcare topics were often a topic of conversation at home and it was something that very much interested me,” says Dr. Wojt, who graduated from Medical University, Faculty of Dentistry in Bialystok, Poland in 1988. She successfully completed the National Dental Examining Board of Canada examinations in 1998, and has been practicing dentistry in York Region since 1999. “I choose dentistry because I like to work with my hands and create something.”
Dr. Wojt’s philosophy at the office is simple; “Offer the best possible service in a friendly, boutique-style setting. I strive to treat everyone the way I would like to be treated myself. I don’t like to rush, and I respect my patient’s time, as I always try to be on time.”
Patience, perseverance and detachment are important aspects of balance in her life. In her spare time, she practices yoga and travels for the admiration of nature and art. Reading books and watching movies are her other hobbies.
Dr. Wojt is an active member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons and the Ontario Dental Association.

In Michelle’s spare time, she enjoys hanging out with family and friends, boating and golfing, as well as rooting on the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Deanne McLean lives by the quote, “Dream as if you will live forever. Live each day as it may be your last.”
The quote is perfectly related to her attitude toward her career as a registered dental hygienist. She graduated from Regency Dental Hygiene Academy in 2006, and is a member of the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario.
“Motivating a client to start caring about their oral hygiene and seeing amazing results is so rewarding, keeps me passionate about dental hygiene,” says Deanne, who from a young age knew she wanted to work in healthcare, with her mother being a nurse.
Deanne had a fear of the dentist as child, which makes her want to make a patient’s experience in the dental chair more relaxed. She remembers a 45-year-old patient who had never been to the dentist because of fear.
“Not only did his fear of the dentist disappear, but now he comes every three months for his regular cleaning appointment.”
Deanne finds balance in her life with her husband, and two small children. During the winter she loves to snowboard and snowmobile. She also finds time to destress with kickboxing class.
Samantha Mancinelli started her dental career as a graduate from Georgian College in 2008 completing the dental assisting level I and II program. Upon completion of dental assisting, she decided to expand her dental knowledge and received her dental hygiene diploma in 2010.
Samantha always takes into consideration the comfort and health of her patients, knowing that dental anxiety can be stressful for some and enjoys building a rapport with patients. She has worked everything from assisting the dentist, to administrative work, but her ultimate passion is in dental hygiene.
In her spare time, Samantha enjoys catching a movie, seeing live shows, reading and spending time with friends, family and her dog Clyde.
She is an active member of the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario and Ontario Dental Hygienists' Association.
